Sipsara Udanaya – 2013, workshops for Grade 5 scholarship examination begins...

Making children of the Uva Province proud through education, under the concept of Sipsara Udanaya, an educational support program initiated by the Chief Minister of Uva Province Hon. Shasheendra Rajapaksa, a workshop was held recently at the auditorium of the Public Library of Badulla to assist children who sit for the Grade 5 scholarship examination, with the participation of the Chief Minister of Uva Province Hon. Shasheendra Rajapaksa.

A series of similar workshops under the Sipsara Udanaya program would be held during the next two months, in the Uva Province to educate and methodically prepare children to sit for the Grade 5 scholarship examination and get through it, successfully.

This program is assisted by the Provincial Ministry of Education of the Uva Province on instructions by the Hon. Chief Minister and the first of its workshop was well attended by the children who will be facing the Grade 5 scholarship examination, their parents and several other government officials.
